Peter Andre: Pain at Katie Split

Peter Andre has confessed he broke down in an Ikea car park  following the break-up of his marriage to Katie Price.

The Australian pop star says he broke down, while on a shopping trip, after being hit with the “realisation that the family unit was smashed to pieces”.

“It all just suddenly hit me in the Ikea car park. I had to go home, and that night I cried myself to sleep.”

The 36-year-old singer said he was not ready to enter a new relationship despite reports of his estranged wife cavorting with a string of men since the split, including a cage fighter.

Andre added: “I’m still in a tunnel and can’t see the light yet, but I know it’s there. I know I’ll get there and come out a stronger man – a better man.”

“I wish I was stronger. The one thing about Katie is that she can just move on. I can’t do that. Well, not yet anyway,” he told News Of The World’s magazine Fabulous.

Katie Gets Nasty on Pete

The Katie Price / Peter Andre split got nasty at the weekend when Katie said, it what many think was a veiled attack on  Peter,  ”I like a man with a talent. They have to have some kind of drive. It’s very unattractive for a man to be none of those things.”

Peter to sue Katie ?

Peter Andre is taking legal action over comments made by his estranged wife Katie Price in a television interview.

The latest twist in the couple’s disintegrating relationship came after the model appeared on GMTV to promote her new book.

The glamour model, formerly known as Jordan, was asked whether her husband had been faithful during their marriage and replied: “As far as I know I think he was faithful.”

Andre has always insisted no-one else was involved in the demise of his marriage.

In his column for New! magazine, written shortly after the split, Andre said: “I can hold my head up high and say I’ve been 100% faithful throughout my marriage and still am. And any reports suggesting otherwise are totally hurtful and false.”

The singer’s lawyer confirmed he was taking action over the comments.

Katie Price appeared on GMTV this morning and revealed that her children are starting to ask some awkward questions about her recent split from husband Peter Andre.

She said that said four-year-old Junior in particular is feeling the impact of the separation. She said: ‘Junior knows something’s up. Like he’ll say stuff like “Where’s Daddy?”, “Daddy doesn’t love you anymore, do you still love Daddy?” You know, things like that.”

Peter Andre Falls off Stage

Peter Andre was performing at the T4 On The Beach in Weston-super-mare, Somerset yesterday when he fell off the stage. “One minute he was bouncing around the stage having the time of his life. The next he was flat on his face” said one fan.

Peter says he will keep Katie tattoo

Peter Andre told This Morning that he will keep his  ‘Katie’ tattoo on  his wedding finger. He says he has no intention of getting rid of the etching he had done when they married in 2005 “Getting rid of my tattoo is nowhere near a priority and I don’t think I will. I don’t want the kids to pick up on any hostilities between us so I need to put them first. At the end of the day she’ll always be in my life because she’s the mother of my children.”

Katie Price has miscarriage

Katie Price has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage just weeks before she and Peter Andre split up.

In an interview with Piers Morgan  on ITV1  Katie admitted that she fell pregnant whilst filming in America but a scan in the UK revealed that she had miscarried the baby.

Katie told Piers:

“Even though [Pete and I] were still bickering and I shouldn’t have gone to America, we were happy because it’s a baby, it’s an amazing thing when you have a baby.”

Ten weeks into the pregnancy a scan revealed that the baby’s heart had stopped.

“(The doctor) was poking the thing around on my belly and it was moving, and he said that he can’t see a heartbeat but he said, ‘Let me check, so let me do some bloods (blood tests).’

Further tests indicated the fetus was still developing and Katie returned to the hospital three days later and it soon became clear that something was wrong:

She added: “I went in thinking: ‘He’s going to be great, he’s going to see a heartbeat’. And it was on the screen and you know they poke the thing around, he said: ‘No it’s, it’s died, it’s gone’.”

It is rumoured that Katie got paid £100,000 for the exclusive television interview.
